New York car crash results in personal injury to 4 pedestrians

Sidewalks have likely left many pedestrians in New York feeling safer. Unfortunately, there are many areas that do not have these safety features; in these areas, motorists are still required to act in a way that does not jeopardize the safety of pedestrians. Despite this, a man was charged after police say he caused an accident that resulted in personal injury to four family members.

Personal injury: Multiple people injured in deck collapse

There is a great deal of effort that goes into building a sound structure in New York and around the country. The person who creates building plans, the people who actually build it and the inspectors who ensure everything is up to code must all perform their jobs as expected. Failure to do so could result in a serious incident. Unfortunately, a recent deck collapse in another state has injured approximately 25 people, potentially resulting in a personal injury lawsuit.

Lawsuit claims woman's Tasing was police misconduct

Most police officers in New York and across the country are professionals who are dedicated to protecting people. However, some can make controversial decisions that are not merited by the situation. For example, a woman in another state has recently filed a police misconduct lawsuit as a result of what she describes as "excessive force."

Personal injury: 1 killed, 3 injured in New York pedestrian crash

In New York and across the country, many people take Memorial Day to reflect on the freedoms that they have and the costs of preserving those freedoms. Unfortunately, the recent holiday turned to tragedy when four pedestrians were injured in a car accident, one suffering fatal injuries. The three surviving victims may ultimately choose to file a personal injury lawsuit against the driver believed to have caused the accident.
